Absolutely not! Although Houston, being the 3rd largest boat population in the United States, the boat can be anywhere a broker can reasonably get to. The Fort Lauderdale are is very popular, but expensive. Houston has very reasonable dock space under $1,000/month. It is also easy to get to from anywhere in the US.

No, if it floats, we sell it. Although power and sailing catamarans are our passion, we are happy to work with any type of vessel. Quite often boat owners want to upgrade from a monohull or power boat into a catamaran. 

We charge a 10% commission on all sales. This is usually split with an outside broker 50/50. You are not responsible for paying any up-front cost. We collect when the boat sells. 

There are brokers out there that will do “short commission” listings but this only hurts you, the seller. Many brokers will refuse to work with short commission brokers and will never present your yacht to their clients. 

Yes! Just be sure to communicate with Houston Sailing if your boat will be unavailable to show at certain times.
